At Anne Marie's Pottery, I personally make all of my
pottery by hand in my studio. Each piece is lovingly formed on my potter's wheel. I carefully choose my glazes to accent the lines of each vessel. Because of this, each pot is it's own unique work of art.
I hope you enjoy browsing and if you'd like a custom piece, please let me know and we can work it out. I frequently make a set of mugs or bowls for individuals as well as businesses and I would be glad to talk to you about it.

I first discovered my love of pottery over 30 years ago after watching a master potter work his wheel. To my then untrained eye, it appeared as if the potter made the clay rise up almost as if by magic. I was hooked! Later, I became a student of the master potter who so inspired me. I also began taking classes at various Universities as well as attending numerous pottery workshops.
I have spent years studying and developing a diverse understanding of the traditions of pottery, but also began to explore my own unique direction. In the years that followed, I worked in various clay mediums, all centered around my potter's wheel and kilns.
Today, my primary focus is functional pottery and tableware. I choose my glazes carefully to emphasize the lines and shapes of each vessel. What I wish to convey to my friends and customers is a sense of individual hand made quality for each piece of pottery you use. From your morning cup of coffee in your favorite pottery mug, to that late night bowl of ice cream, I hope to impart my sense of wonder and joy in the pieces I create for you.
If you have any questions about my pottery or would like me to create a special order, I would be happy to work with you. Please feel free to send me an e-mail at annemlemke@gmail.com
